The CITY OF OXFORD will receive sealed bids for the Conference Center Substation Addition. The technical documents and scope of service are available to bidders at www.oxfordmsbids.com. Bidders are encouraged to download and review documents prior to submission. Bids that do not follow the instructions in section 00100 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS may be disqualified. The bids may be submitted via hand-delivery, US Mail, or electronic submission. Bids will be received until 10:00 AM local time on November 19th, 2020 at which time all bids will be immediately thereafter opened and publicly read aloud.Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond not less than 5% of total bid.

The work to de done consists generally of: Furnishing and installation of one 161 kV Power Circuit Breaker and twelve 13kV single phase voltage regulators. Furnishing of concrete foundations, steel structures, high voltage bus work, conduit and cable and associated work, and other related work as shown on specifications and plan documents. All contractors bidding this project must have had prior experience performing work in an energized 161 kV or above rated high voltage electrical substation.

The project will be awarded based on the best-qualified submittal and is subject to the approval of the Mayor and Board of Alderman. The Board of Alderman reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities.
